The County Fair is coming right up. Are you entering anything? Love looking at all the exhibits. They sure do bring back memories of 4-H and riding the ferris wheel. Remember the church stands and the awesome food they served? This past Sunday, the grounds and surrounding area were packed with people and horses. It was a lovely sight!

Have you noticed that another new house is going up across the highway?

Friday, 7-10-1925, The Otoe Union: “Torrid Heat Wave Causes Suffering” was the headline. “It was hard on old people and invalids for it seemed impossible to find a cool place for them.” Hugo Steen left for Omaha in hopes of finding a new job. “Judge Carper says he can predict rain three days in advance, for just three days before a rain his dog eats grass.” Don Stilwell gave up his position with Beatrice Creamery Co., and took charge of the Coreyell oil business in Unadilla.
