Syracuse High School celebrated Homecoming this past week.
The theme was Space! Organizations created signs up to three feet by four feet that were placed along Hwy 50 in front of the high school. Each class decorated a hallway in the high school that was judged by one of the high school organizations.
Student Council is responsible for all aspects of the homecoming dance and all tasks related to the royalty.
FBLA, SOS, “S” Club, NHS, Cheerleaders, SkillsUSA and the Art Dept. all contributed to the success of Homecoming Week and the dance. Activities on Friday, September 20th include a pep rally, the Rocket football team will play Lincoln Christian at 6 p.m. and the homecoming dance is 8:30 – 11 p.m.
