State COVID-19 death toll increases

Seven additional deaths related to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Wednesday, April 22.

Three deaths were in Hall County. They were women in their 60s and 70s, and a man in his 60s - .

One was a Hamilton County woman in her 90s. - .

Three deaths were in Douglas County, they were all men in their 60s and 70s. –

A new COVID-19 case has been reported in Fillmore County.

Local health departments are reporting deaths and cases in their jurisdictions. In the event of a discrepancy between DHHS dashboard data and deaths or cases reported by local public health officials, data reported by the local health department should be considered the most up to date.
