Second case of COVID-19 confirmed in Johnson County

The Southeast District Health Department (SEDHD) has confirmed a fourth case of coronavirus (COVID-19) within the district.

The person is a woman in her 60s who lives in Johnson County. She is an employee of an assisted living facility in Gage County, where prior confirmed cases had been reported by the Public Health Solutions District Health Department.

All identified close contacts will be asked to self-quarantine and be actively monitored by public health officials for fever and symptoms of respiratory disease.

The SEDHD will continue to update the district as new information becomes available.
