The person is a man in his 60s who lives in Nemaha County. He recently returned from travel to Vail, Colo. He is experiencing mild symptoms of COVID-19 and is currently self-isolated.

Contact investigations are in progress. The SEDHD, with the assistance of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, is working to assess the risk for potential exposures.

All identified close contacts will be asked to self-quarantine and be actively monitored by public health officials for fever and respiratory symptoms.
