MRB Lewis and Clark Center and Executive Director Doug Friedli were honored with the Golden Apple Award at the 95th Annual Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce Banquet on Jan. 25.
The Center is hosting its annual Native American Artifact Show on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nancy Gillis will be the featured speaker, presenting “The Voices of Native American Women.”
This year’s show will feature exhibitions of public and private artifact collections from across the region, as well as kids’ activities like clay pottery and corn husk doll making.
This event is free and open to the public.
• Saturday with a Soldier begins on Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Living History demonstrations are held every second Saturday of the month from April through October.
