Peru State will be recognizing two different groups this coming Saturday, Sept. 14, at its football game with Benedictine (Kan.). Game time is 1 p.m.

The College will be recognizing our friends, neighbors, and alumni who donated to flood relief efforts in Peru after the historic March floods. Anyone who donated to the flood relief will be admitted free to the game.

Also being recognized at halftime of the game will be the winter and spring student-athletes who received either athletic or academic honors during the 2018-19 year.

In addition, there are two other events taking place on Saturday. At 11 a.m., the Bobcat volleyball team will be hosting Central Methodist (Mo.). Admission will be free for this contest.

At approximately 12:40 p.m. or 20 minutes prior to the start of the football game, the Bobcat cheerleaders and their youth camp participants will be presenting a short program.
