Allie Bokmaper went 2-for-4 with a double, single, and three RBI as the Rockets softball team picked up their second straight win on Thursday, September 5.

Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca have won three of it’s last four games to improve to 5 and 3 overall and 1 and 0 in their district.


Against Conestoga, the Rockets scored 13 runs on 10 hits, including an eight run third inning.


Grace Damme had four stolen bases that allowed her to get in scoring position, as she crossed home plate on three separate occasions.


Damme and Taylor Sherwin, each had two singles; Brooke Carlson, triple; Kaela McMullen, Suzy Shanks and Sydney Wellsandt, each with singles.


Shanks got the win for the Rockets. Shanks threw five innings and allowed five hits, three runs and struck out one.

Sydney Wellsandt led the Rockets with a triple and four RBI in this contest.

Lauren Siefken contributed three RBI; Allie Bokmaper, two; Grace Damme, Madison Kreifels and Suzy Shanks, one each.

Hitting: Siefken and Kaela McMullen, each hit doubles.

McMullen and Shanks combined for the pitching totals. McMullen threw two innings and allowed three hits and four runs. Shanks tossed two innings and gave up one hit, two runs, and no earned runs.
