Nebraska, 15-10-1 overall and 2-0-1 in Big 10 play, will host Creighton for a 6:35 p.m. Tuesday start.
Other games this week have the Huskers playing Wednesday at Werner Park against the University of Nebraska at Omaha and hosting Maryland for clashes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Game time at Werner Park will be 6:35 p.m. Game times for the Maryland contests will be 6:35 p.m., 2:05 p.m. and 1:05 p.m.
On Tuesday, April 11, the Huskers will travel to play old Big 12 rival Kansas State for a 6:35 p.m. start.
Nebraska is coming off a series win at Indiana. The Huskers took wins by scores of 7-3 and 3-1. Jake Hohensee pitched five strikeouts against no walks in 7.1 innings to win the first of the games. Nebraska’s offense had 11 hits in that contest with Ben Miller and Luis Alvaredo both hitting homers. In the second win, Derek Burkamper pitched five frames, struck out three and got the win. Ben Miller and Jake Schleppenbach had two hits each and the Nebraska offense had 10 overall.

The Creighton Bluejays are 8-14 coming into Tuesday action in Lincoln and have lost the last two ball games with those decisions coming against Winthrop.

The UNO Mavericks are 6-21 coming into Wednesday action at Werner Park having lost the last two contests to North Dakota State. Brett Sasse, a graduate of Lourdes Central Catholic, pitches for the Mavs. Sasse has made eight appearances on the mound this season. He’s worked 7.2 innings and struck out nine.

Maryland had an 18-8 record overall and a 5-1 Big 10 record prior to Tuesday’s non-league contest against Richmond. The Terrapins are coming off a three-game sweep of Rutgers at Piscataway, N.J.
