Nebraska City Fire and Rescue responded at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 18, to a reported travel trailer fire in the northbound lanes of Highway 75 near the Nebraska City Airport. Passing motorists and a crew from the Omaha Public Power District, who were working nearby, helped extinguish the fire, which was caused by an overheated tire.PHOTO BY JULIE DAVIS
