Alma H. Schroder, 97 of Palmyra, passed away on Jan. 27, 2021. She was born April 6, 1923, to John H. & Amanda M. (Bauers) Buchholz. She married Edward W. Schroder on Feb. 28, 1945.
Survived by: children: Lyle (Beth) Schroder of Griswold, Iowa, Wayne (Alice) Schroder of Palmyra, Arvilla (Don) Wilson of Lincoln; Grandchildren: Melissa (Bill) Ihnen, Marcy Dorsey, Chris (Crystal) Schroder, Michelle Schroder, Teresa (Bill) Weaver, Rex Schroder, Troy (Jan) Wilson, Wendy (Roy) Leach, Trent (Sarah) Wilson, Kara Wilson & fiancé Matt Pierce; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother-in-Law: Joy Schroder; sister-in-law & brother-in-law: Verda (Bill) Umland; also many nieces and nephews.
Preceded by: parents, husband, baby brother, 8 month old sister: Clara, brother & sister-in-law: Willie & Ruby Buchholz, Sister & brother-in-law: Dora & Hep Sanders, brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Myron & Marilyn Schroder and sister-in-law: Verle Schroder.
Private funeral services were to be Monday, Feb. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Palmyra. Service was to be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Burial was to be at Rosewood Cemetery in Palmyra.
Visitation was to be Saturday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Also Sunday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. all at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
