Delores I. A. Schreiner, age 85 of Nebraska City died July 19, 2019, at Bryan LGH West Medical Center in Lincoln.  
Delores was born June 1, 1934 in Talmage, the daughter of Victor and Genevieve (Frerichs) Damme. She married Allen Schreiner April 23, 1957, at St. John’s United Church of Christ near Talmage.  Allen died Oct. 11, 2014.  
Delores was a homemaker and was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and the Neighborhood Social Club.  
Delores was an avid seamstress.  She loved gardening, canning, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and her grandchildren.  
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Carroll and husband Dennis of Grand Island, Cindy Kongs and husband Mike of Washington, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Nicole Knight and her husband Matthew, Lindsey VanStelton and her husband Jeff, Ashley Kongs and her husband Greg Zagorski, Jacob Kongs and his wife Caitlin, Tyler Kongs, Abbey Grandgenett and Ben Grandgenett; four great grandchildren, Ethan Knight, Aubrey Knight, Max VanStelton and Emma VanStelton; son in law, Al Grandgenett and his wife Sally of Wahoo; sister, Vernita Heinke-Daoust and husband Mark of Dunbar; many other relatives and friends.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Lori Grandgenett; father in law and mother in law, Paul and Louise Schreiner; brother in law, Ron Heinke and infant sister, Norma Jean Damme.
Funeral services were to be 11 am. Tuesday, July 23, at Bethel United Church of Christ in Nebraska City with burial to follow in the Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.
Visitations were to be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
