Rosemary “Rosie” Redden, age 83, of Nehawka died June 15, 2018, at Nebraska City Care and Rehabilitation Center.  
Rosie was born March 25, 1935, in Murray, the daughter of Rose and Sarah E. (Hicks) Redden.  
She married Howard Redden on Nov. 21, 1953, in Nebraska City.  
Howard died April 26, 1989.  
Rosie had many jobs over the years including caregiver and cook.
She loved to volunteer at the Nebraska City Eagles Club.  
Rosie loved cooking, traveling, playing cards, dancing, country music and spending time with her family.  
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.  
Survivors include her son, Wes and wife Renee of Weeping Water; daughters, Pam Cooper and husband Richard of Mountain Home, Ark., Cindy Redden of Nehawka; four grandchildren, Greg Redden and wife Kristi, Jon Bennett and wife Kristyn, Tami Smith and husband Geoff, Jordan West and husband Travis; sixteen great grandchildren; sister Alberta Nichols of Nehawka; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother, Neil Redden.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Nebraska City Eagles Club with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka.
Visitations will be 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall Funeral Chapel with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
