Isabel M. Grantski, age 95 of Nebraska City passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at her home.
Isabel was born on July 16, 1922, in Auburn; the daughter of Charles and Lottie Haith.  She attended school and then went to work at Nebraska Outerwear where they made government clothing.  She worked as a seamstress there until her retirement in 1998.
She was united in marriage to Walter Joseph Grantski.  Isabel was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Nebraska City.
Isabel is survived by her sons:  Walter E. Grantski of LaVista; Darrell L. Grantski of Bradenton, Fla.; Raymond Grantski of Nebraska City and Greg Grantski of Nebraska City; daughters:  Shirley Hardenberger of Omaha; Shelly Labbs of Omaha; Debbie Scoles of Nebraska City and Susan Hensley of Nebraska City; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings:  Irene Schiller of Leshara; and Albert Haith of Texas; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Grantski and son Ralph Michael Grantski.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Nebraska City with Fr. Mark Cyza officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery by Paul.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday (12/28) evening at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.
Memorials may be given to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Remembrances may be left at Gude Mortuary, Nebraska City in charge of arrangements.
