Ready to win?
Nebraska Public Transit Week coming up on April 9-13 and will be filled with contests and fun events.
During the course of the week, those who come to inquire about public transportation will be put in a drawing for prizes.
Spot the Bus will also be going on that entire week where the public is invited to take a creative photo of one of the busses and email it in for a chance to win a prize.
To show customer appreciation, as passengers board the bus that week, Blue Rivers is giving them a chance to draw prizes including: a free ride, a half price ride, or other gifts that will be provided.
Other scheduled events for Nebraska Public Transit Week include: an Open House with food and refreshments from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 10; and Stuff The Bus for the Food Pantry at Nebraska City Schools on April 11.
Art students at the Nebraska City Public Schools will create their interpretation of what public transportation is in Nebraska City during the week and then, on Friday, the Art Contest winner(s) will be announced.
