Bobbie Gene Chandler, age 66, of Auburn (formerly of Nebraska City) died Nov. 26, 2017, at Bryan LGH East Medical Center in Lincoln.  
Bobbie was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of Arthur and Doris (Eastridge) Rains.  
She worked at American Meter for several years prior to her retirement.  
She was an avid Husker fan and loved playing Canasta and spending time with family.
Survivors include her son, AJ Chandler and wife Vanessa of Auburn; sister, Rosetta Bowen and husband James of Sand Springs, Okla.; sister in law, Annette Rains of Lincoln; nephew, Tyler Rains; nieces, Tonya Kaup and Crystal Bowen-Hale; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Arthur and George.
Graveside services for the inurnment of ashes will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at the Avoca Cemetery.  Visitations with no viewing will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City. A memorial fund has been established.
