S-D-A placed second as the Rockets’ four-team invite on Monday Oct. 2.
S-D-A faced the Knights of Lourdes Central in the first round.
The Rockets defeated Lourdes in two sets 25-17 and 25-13 to advance to the Championship against Ralston.
Meredith Clark was successful as she had seven kills out of 10 attempts.  Jesse Moss had six kills.
Jaysa Zoller led in assists with 16

Ralston ended the Rockets incredible 12- match winning streak by defeating S-D-A 25-21 and 25-20.
Coach Courtney VanGroningen said it was a great learning moment for her team since they had not had a losing feeling in awhile.
VanGroningen expressed that the Rockets had too many errors in the Ralston match.
“We couldn’t find that shot to put it away and get that kill.”  Coach VanGroningen said.
She said that Ralston did a great job hitting different shots as S-D-A kept going right at the Rams instead of keeping their opponent on their heals.
Lauren Meyer, Reagan Petersen, and Clark paved the way in kill kills with six each and Jaysa Zoller had 22 assists to lead all Rockets.
Coming in second at home, the Rockets felt,  was something they could build on.
Coach VanGroningen said that she feels her team didn’t play to their ability in the championship but was happy with the effort.

S-D-A was also in action on Thursday, winning in four sets by scores of 25-21, 25-19, 23-25 and 25-12.
