Congratulations to Mikayla Roeder for making State Golf.  Good Luck!
Good Luck to the Volleyball team at ECNC, Cross Country team at Districts, the Football team, and the Band at Oxbow Invitational in Ashland.
Several people enjoyed the dinner served by the Bennet Community Church on Wednesday, and the breakfast served by the Douglas Fire/Rescue Depts on Saturday.
The Frank H. Woods Telephone Pioneer Museum hosted an Open House for Palmyra and Bennet.
There were several displays that brought back many memories to look at.  The switchboard from Palmyra still had the telephone listings on the panel from 1962.
Jan Thomson and Jackie Bremer spent the afternoon at the museum.

The CROP Walk was hosted by the Douglas United Methodist Church.
Several local people participated in the walk around Douglas on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Jill Jones and Pam Goodrich are still accepting donations through the end of the month.
The community has been generous with their donations, as always.  Thank you!
Douglas/Sarpy County Family and Community Education
Verda Umland and Jackie Bremer attended the Douglas/Sarpy County Family and Community Education quarterly meeting.
After the meeting, several of the ladies went to lunch together.

Palmyra Presbyterian Church
The local churches rotate donating to the Western Otoe County Food Pantry, with very generous giving.
The Presbyterians challenged themselves during September to donate 500 items (including cash).  The final count was 759!  Thank you!
