Jace Goebel and Hunter Holle of the Syracsue wrestling team joined members of the Nebraska City wrestling team and one member of the Plattsmouth wrestling team for a special dual event against a select team in Maine as part of that state’s wrestling exchange program.

The matches took place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Sunken Parking Lot in downtown Nebraska City.

Wrestlers making up the Nebraska City team were Dominick Sterling, Boston Harker, Trey Lyons, Trevor Flash, Malikye Dovel, Brock Weddle, Luke Chaney, Chevy Adams, Jayden Adams, Harper Weldon, Dawson Thorne, Dane Lyons, Grayson Vesley, and Oscar Gonzalez. Helping to round out the team were Hunter Holle and Jace Goebel from Syracuse and Jackson Ebby from Plattsmouth.
