The Otoe County Museum of Memories in Syracuse was open during GermanFest Saturday, October 11, 2025. Visitors to the museum harvested horse radish or Meerrettich, the German name for horse radish that means sea radish. Digging Horse radishes were Braxton Fass, Hayes West, Ike West, Truman Reisdorff and Charley McWilliams.
