recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He formerly lived in Decatur, Lyons, Plattsmouth, Nebraska City, Percival, and Sidney. Stanley served in the U.S. Army for two years at Fort Riley and Camp Polk and served six years in the reserves before he was honorably discharged June 4, 1961. He worked at Allied Chemical in LaPlatte and farmed near Percival before he retired. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and grandchildren every chance he got. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; son, Scott Allen Sydow; granddaughter, Danelle Renee (Sydow) Owens and husband, Stephen; great grandchildren, Emma Sue Owens, and Zane Stephen Owens; daughter in law, Rhonda Yost; sister, Donna (Sydow) Kirk; brothers, Grant Sydow, Val (Sue) Sydow; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two stepsisters, Mildred (Luse) Olson and husband Ed Olsen, Gladys (Luse) Mallette and husband Roy Mallette; and stepbrother, Harvey Luse.
