The Syracuse High School track team gathered on Tuesday, May 20, for their annual track awards banquet, led by first-time head coach Phil Janssen. The evening served as a moment of reflection and celebration ahead of the upcoming state meet.

After stepping into the head coaching role after serving as an assistant, Janssen expressed gratitude to his coaching staff, Krista Sisco, Joe Pavlik, Alexis Pavlik, Thomas Neemann, and Meredith Clark, for their dedication and support throughout the season.

During the banquet, several athletes were recognized for their leadership, improvement, and academic achievements:
