Sad to report the passing of (Merwyn) Eloise (Lauderback) Stubbendeck. She was 98, the wife of Edgar, and worked for many years at Russell Stover. Eloise was well known in Unadilla and was a wonderful and caring friend to my mother and me. She will be missed.

Deicing salts are used to melt the ice and help give people and vehicles the traction they need to move forward and not fall. But, be careful with deicing products as they can be harmful to plants.
