The drought is continuing across Nebraska. This drought has been going on for multiple years and we are already seeing problems in our plants. These problems will continue to get worse if we don’t start seeing real precipitation soon and through the spring and summer this year.

Recognized as Best Dressed this year was McKenna Myers-Staack from Avoca as The Avoca Super Duck.

Well, another Groundhog Day celebration is in the books, and Billie predicted an early spring! I had to stay home due to that horrible flu that’s going around. But thanks to my cub reporter, Bob Wilhelm, we have pictures! And we again got a shout out from Al Roker! It was a great crowd I’m told, and the vendors were happy with the turnout. There are still Groundhog shirts available at Nitty Gritty. I’d love to see some of your photos. This year’s King is Ryan McIntosh and Queen is Bev Wilhelm. Congratulations to both of you! Between them they raised over $17,000 for local projects and improvements to Unadilla.
