With the season progressing, the Rocket players are finding their roles, working together as a team, and learning how to finish. Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic (10-9) was on the other side of the net when things started to click for the Rockets. Lourdes won everything about this set at the integral points with leads of 10-5, 15-8, and 20-13 and even had 8 chances at set point. But once the Rockets got the ball back off a kill by junior Kadyn Sisco at 17-24, the Rockets went on a 9-0 run behind 3 ace serves from sophomore Jadyn Meyer, 4 kills from Sisco, and hitting errors for Lourdes. With two timeouts by Lourdes in the span, the Rockets pulled off the 26-24 first-set win.
