The Syracuse Rockets volleyball team entered the week of September 8 searching for consistency against tough competition. On Tuesday, September 9, the Rockets hosted Bishop Neumann (9-3). After dropping the first two sets 13-25 and 12-25, Syracuse fought back with a 25-21 win in the third before falling 13-25 in the fourth to drop the match 1-3.

The No. 1 and unbeaten Huskers (6-0) will be back in action at home on Friday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. against Utah. TV coverage by FS1. With the nice fall weather settling in, the Syracuse girls’ golf team played at the Tecumseh Country Club on Tuesday, September 2, at the Johnson County Central Triangular with Auburn. Both varsity and junior varsity golfers turned in strong performances.
