Using the Johnson County Central Track Invite to switch some athletes around, the Syracuse track teams continued to find success with the girls’ team placing first with 156 points over second-place Johnson County Central with 79 points and the boys’ team in second with 90 points, only three points behind Wilber-Clatonia with 93 points.
Rescheduled due to the fierce tornadic storms in the Valley area on Friday, the Rocket track team competed in the nine-team Nebraska Capitol Conference Meet at DC West on Monday, April 27, in 70-degree, no-wind weather.

Halle Wilhelm (Syracuse 2021 Graduate) continued her volleyball career on the intramural circuit at Nebraska Wesleyan University where her team recently won first place in the spring coed volleyball league with an undefeated record.

The undefeated Syracuse girls’ track team clinched victory at the nine-team Louisville Invite on Thursday, April 18, with 156 points, outscoring runner-up North Bend Central by 47 points.
