Wednesday, April 30th marks 100 days of Donald Trump’s second Presidency. In that time, President Trump has taken historic action to deliver on his promises. He’s securing the border. He’s cutting wasteful spending and improving efficiency. He’s restoring American strength. He’s also fighting to level the playing field on trade. I’m proud to stand with him.

Legislative Update

We have about six calendar weeks left of the 2025 Legislative Session, which translates to just over 20 days of floor debate. We have begun late-night floor debates, and we begin work on the state budget on Tuesday, May 6.

Fighting Big Government Failures at the IRS

Tax Day is a time when many Americans feel frustration. The average Nebraskan paid $14,974 in federal taxes last year. They expect efficient services in return. Too often, families and seniors get caught in a web of confusing tax rules. Even worse, bureaucratic failures can cost taxpayers thousands of dollars. That is why I am fighting to fix it and give taxpayers some relief.

As we begin the final one-third of the 2025 Legislative Session, we are preparing for the late-night floor debates, which will begin on Tuesday, April 22. Three days of late-night floor debates are planned for each week for the balance of the session.
