Frank A. Schulze Jr., 84 of Unadilla, passed away on Wednesday, May 4 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln. He was born on March 29, 1938, to Frank & Milly (Davis) Schulze at home near Unadilla and graduated from Unadilla High School in 1956. On November 21, 1962, he married Joyce Johnson at the Hope Lutheran Church in Burr.

Robert “Bob” Armknecht

Robert Charles Armknecht was born October 3, 1929 to Harry and Alma (Wilken) Armknecht on the family farm near Cook, Nebraska. Bob was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Cook High School in 1947. Bob was united in marriage to Ruth Brandt on June 5, 1949 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Osage. To this union four children were born.

William W. Witty Jr.

William W. Witty Jr., 79 of Syracuse, passed away on May 1, 2022, after a short battle with dementia. William was born on November 25, 1942, to William & Janice (Miesbach) Witty in Nebraska City. After high school he joined the Air Force Reserves until he was honorably discharged in 1967.

Gary W. Morrison

Gary W. Morrison, 78 of Syracuse passed away on April 18, 2022, at the Syracuse Hospital. He was born on March 10, 1944, in Salina, KS to Wayne & Ethel (McDiffit). Gary joined the Navy 1962 and worked with the Navy Seals during Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1966.

Harold H. McWilliams

Harold H. McWilliams, 98, of Redding, CA, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was born on April 3, 1923, to Charles & Leona (Weber) McWilliams in Unadilla. Harold graduated from Syracuse High School and later went to the School of Aeronautics after his military service. Harold served in the 451stbombing group in the 15th Air Force during WWII.

Judith (Schroeter) Schwab

Judith, Judy, (Schroeter) Schwab was born July 13, 1944 and passed from this life on April 16, 2022. She was the daughter of Otto & Dorothy Schroeter. Judy was their first-born child. She was perfect at her birth order position as she was always happy, quick to please and very loving.

Rosita Ann Bartling Kreifels

Rosita Ann Bartling Kreifels was born on May 20, 1935, in Unadilla, Nebraska to Herman and Rose (Stubbendick) Bartling. She graduated from Otoe County Schools in 1949 and then from Lincoln School of Commerce in 1954. She was married to Mark Kreifels on April 20, 1955, in Lincoln Nebraska where they made their home. Mark and Rosita had a double wedding ceremony with his twin brother Marvin (Skip) and wife Pat Kreifels. Pat and Rosita were best friends, so this wedding held lots of joy for everyone! Mark and Rosie had four children.

Beatrice Mae Wallen
