Syracuse added to a fantastic 2024-25 wrestling season with its third-place finish at the Nebraska School Activities Association State Dual Championships on Saturday, Feb. 8, in Kearney.
The 37th Groundhog Day Parade took place in Unadilla on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 1. The parade attracted participants including Nebraska State Senator Robert Hallstrom and his wife LuRae; GermanFest royalty; U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts; classic car enthusiasts; and riders from NoWear BMX in Otoe. Unadilla Billie led off the parade atop the hood of a Ford Falcon, the official car of Groundhog Day in the Groundhog Capital of Nebraska.
