Hundreds of dollars was raised at the 4-H Specialty Food Auction held Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Otoe County Fair. Several 4-H’ers presented their baked goods. Emma Beede’s baked goods brought the highest bid at $360. Mark Easter was the auctioneer. Participants receive 50% of the proceeds while the other 50% goes to the council.

Lydia Van Meter was named the All-Around Showmanship Champion at the Round Robin Livestock contest at the Otoe County Fair.

Six Otoe County veterans received Quilts of Valor from the Blue Star Mothers of Nebraska Chapter 1 Nebraska City during the Otoe County Fair.
