Otoe BBQ offers something for all

Activities scheduled throughout the day at the Otoe Barbeque offered something for everyone and brought together people from Otoe and surrounding communities. Held Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, the day started with a pancake feed hosted by the Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department with proceeds going toward the purchase of new equipment. All events were held at the park. Bingo, hosted by St. John’s Lutheran Church, and bounce houses were offered throughout the afternoon. The Dairy Chef food truck was available for lunch and ice cream. The BBQ dinner of sliced beef made from the “original recipe” served 150 people. The night concluded with a Street Dance featuring 4 on the Floor at the Otoe Spur Bar and Grill.
