The Syracuse Rocket Boys Golf team teed off Monday, May 19, at the district tournament held at Crooked Creek Golf Course near Lincoln, battling soggy conditions following a heavy overnight storm that soaked the area with several inches of rain.
The Career on Wheels Fair returned to Syracuse Elementary School May 8, 2025. A favorite of students, the fair featured 14 vendors.
The Avoca Town Hall Improvement meeting was held on Friday, May 9, at 8:30 a.m. at the Town Hall. Nadine Kreifels conducted the meeting attending by Bonnie Miller, Deb Dowling, Jenny Meyer, Connie Bruns, and Jim and Joan Meyer.
Memorial Day is fast approaching. Flags will be put up at the Unadilla Cemetery on Friday, May 23, at 6 p.m., and taken down Monday, May 26, at 6 p.m. Thanks in advance to all those who help with this. More details next week.
