Reward offered A $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who spray-painted graffiti on a retaining wall in a Nebraska City neighborhood on Jan. 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nebraska City Police Department at 402-873-6666 Accidents Jan. 24 The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash involving a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck near Palmyra. A press release from the sheriff’s office said Jennifer Maher, 46, of Adams was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Highways 43 and 2 when it was sideswiped by a southbound pickup truck, which was driven by Charles Kramer, 38, of Nebraska City. The pickup proceeded through the intersection, crossed Highway 2, and rolled several times in a field. Kramer was medically cleared at the scene and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Maher was reportedly uninjured.
