Syracuse communuity enjoys new bathhouse opening

The new bathhouse at the Syracuse Aqua Center opened in 2021 after renovations were made and not opening in 2020 because of COVID, making possible an exciting summer for the community. The construction of a new bathhouse became the focus of a six-person committee after noticing that the old building was in poor conditions with holes in the structure giving access to animals.

The Rockets sixth place medal winner at 170 pounds faced an uphill climb to the medal stand after having lost in the first round of the tournament. He was not deterred in winning three straight matches to get that coveted medal.
