N.V. Helping Hands 4-H Club

The N.V. Helping Hands 4-H club met recently at a picnic shelter in Indian Cave State Park. Members were reminded that all 4-H entries for the Otoe County Fair needed to be done online. Dates for Zoom workshops on how to complete online entries were provided. Following the business meeting, 4-H leader Monty Lovelace discussed and showed pictures of Nebraska birds, their feet, skulls, and calls using materials from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. The members dissected owl pellets and then took a hike in the park looking and listening for birds.
