Making Memories

This Monday morning is different. I am feeling very lazy – and I’m not even ashamed of myself! This past weekend was very special for me. It isn’t often that family schedules align for planned – and unplanned get togethers to work out. Son Ken came for me on Friday afternoon. It was just in time for the drive back to his home in Raymore, MO, to remind me why I like a small town so much. It seemed every person was in their car driving somewhere and they were in a hurry to get there!

Applications sought for 2023 Young Artist Awards

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts is seeking applications for the 26th annual Nebraska Young Artist Awards. The awards recognize 11th-grade students from Nebraska who are talented in visual art, dance, music, theater, and film and emerging media arts (which includes film, 3D models, interactive art, sound design and video games).
