Nebraska Wesleyan University conferred degrees to nearly 400 students during its commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 10.
Two Otoe County residents are among the 475 students named to the spring dean’s list at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Syracuse Community Blood drive will be held Tuesday, June 3 from 11:15 a.m.-5 p.m. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church.
Syracuse is one of the stops on the 2025 Rod & Custom Association’s 32nd Tour Nebraska. On May 31st beginning at 11:30 a.m., over 400 cars will cruise down 5th Street. There will be two groups with about 20 minutes in between. The cars will follow a route from Park Street and go west down 5th Street, south on Mohawk Street and east on 3rd Street where they will meet at the Fair Center for lunch. Cars will depart from Syracuse on 1st Street around 2 p.m.
