The Syracuse Rocket Boys Golf team teed off Monday, May 19, at the district tournament held at Crooked Creek Golf Course near Lincoln, battling soggy conditions following a heavy overnight storm that soaked the area with several inches of rain.
With the district tournament in sight, the Syracuse boys golf team took one final tune-up trip to Hidden Valley Golf Course on Monday, May 12, competing in the Lincoln Christian Dave McEwen Invitational.

At the May 14, 2025 meeting, the Syracuse City Council unanimously passed Resolution No. 25-08 authorizing Mayor Deb Dettmer to sign a proclamation acknowledging EMS Week.
