Bernice Noerrlinger, 96 of Cook, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was born October 7, 1925 to Elmer and Mildred (Richter) Hopp. She married Walter Noerrlinger, Jr. on November 28, 1945 at St. Paul’s UCC (Osage) in rural Cook and were together for nearly 68 years.
Survived by sons Doyle (Carol) Noerrlinger of Smithville, MO, Bruce (Diane) Noerrlinger of Cook, daughter Diane (Steve) Probst of Blair; nine grandchildren & spouses; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Carolyn Hopp, Arvilla Noerrlinger, Helen Fae Haveman and Verneel Noerrlinger; brother-in-law Robert Noerrlinger.
Preceded in death by parents, husband Walter “Junior” Noerrlinger; brother Myron Hopp; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Fritz & Ruth Doeden, Kenneth Kelso, Ellsworth & Doris Stohlman, Gale & Eleanor Jean Bock, Donald Noerrlinger, Chester & Betty Noerrlinger, LeRoy & Joan Haveman, Richard & Ruby Wilson, Leonard Haveman and Darrell Noerrlinger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (Osage) in rural Cook. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Facebook page. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s UCC Cemetery (Osage).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
