Stinson receives scholarship

Brendon Stinson of Syracuse has been awarded the Kelly Kneifl Industrial Technology Scholarship valued at $1,500 to continue their education at Wayne State College. Stinson is a graduate of Syracuse High School in 2021. Stinson’s parents are Jason and Ronda Stinson.

Rocket girls’ team scores team records at Auburn

The Syracuse girls’ track team recorded four meet records in Auburn on Thursday, March 30; Ashlynn Vestal in 300m hurdles, 47.88; Kadyn Sisco in the 800m, 2:32.39; 4x100m relay of Kathleen Donovan, Kadyn Sisco, Bridget Donovan, and Ashlynn Vestal, 52.51; and the 4x400m relay of Bridget Donovan, Kadyn Sisco, Katelyn Smith, and Jayden Meyer, 4:19. The girls placed second in the meet with 146.5 points, only 1.5 points behind Conestoga with 148 points.

Nebraska farm income projected to rise slightly after falling in 2022

Net farm income in Nebraska for 2022 is projected to have fallen to $7.2 billion before rising modestly to $7.3 billion in 2023, according to a report produced by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Center for Agricultural Profitability and the University of Missouri’s Rural and Farm Finance Policy Analysis Center.
