Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor, My name is Olivia Foley and I’m from Girl Scout Troop 20756. My friends Ashley Habel and Natalee Wemhoff are working on our Silver Award. We have been learning about sun safety. Did you know that someone dies from skin cancer every 52 minutes? Did you know that only one-third of the population uses sunscreen year round? So, for our Silver Award we will be putting a sunscreen dispenser at the Syracuse Aqua Center. We are working on raising money for our project. We need approximately $400 for our project. If you would like to donate for our project please contact our Troop leaders Jen Foley or Amy Wemhoff.
