Beulah E. (Davis) Hasty Beason, age 95 of Ozark, Mo., formerly Nebraska City, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at the Ozark Nursing & Care Center in Ozark, MO. She resided at the Care Center since February of 2011.

Beulah E. (Davis) Hasty Beason, age 95 of Ozark, Mo., formerly Nebraska City, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at the Ozark Nursing & Care Center in Ozark, MO. She resided at the Care Center since February of 2011.

Beulah was born on November 26, 1919, in Trenton, the daughter of Melvin O. and Jennie E. (Cozad) Davis.

She was married to Cecil Melton Hasty on May 11, 1938, and later to Raymond G. Beason, Sr. on June 29, 1960, in Auburn. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2010.

In addition to being a housewife, homemaker and loving mom and wife, Beulah worked alongside her husband on the farm. She enjoyed helping with the farm chores and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons: Larry M. Hasty and wife Aida of San Ysidro, Calif., and Jerry C. Hasty and wife Trudy of Nixa, Mo.; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews; friends Ray Beason, Jr. and Janell Miller; other family and friends.

In addition to Raymond she was preceded in death by her parents; brother Leonard C. Davis and sisters: Mildred M. (Davis) Thomas and Viola M. (Davis) Carl.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City. Burial will follow in Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday (Mar. 4) evening from 6:00 to 7:30 at the mortuary.
