District OR-1 students in Bennet and Palmyra are getting ready to start a brand-new school year.
Bennet Elementary students will be able to meet their teachers and reconnect with friends during Open House on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Bennet Elementary is located at 50 Dogwood in Bennet.
Palmyra Junior/Senior High School students can attend Open House at the high school from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7. Palmyra Junior/Senior High School is located at 425 F St. in Palmyra.
Fall Sports Coaches Meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the high school. Students enrolled in fall activities should plan on attending these meetings in the west main gym.
School will begin for all District OR-1 students in grades kindergarten through 12 on Monday, Aug. 11. Fall sports practices will begin after school on Aug. 11, and the Board of Education will host its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. that evening.
School will begin for Bennet Preschool students on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The Panther Booster Bash is scheduled at the Olson Complex on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m.
