The Palmyra Presbyterian Church celebrated their 150 years of an organized church with a Tent Revival in Taggart Park on June 15th.
Pastor Steve Piper, Becky Hall, Tanya (Sturdy) Behrends, Mikayla (Roeder) Robinson, Mary Wallen, Emma (Bremer) Faulkner, Jackie Thomson-Bremer, and Dana Jensen all gave testimonials.
The Youth Message was ‘How Could You Tell Someone About Jesus?’ Songs were sung by the Get Together Band and the congregation. The theme song for the year is ‘To God Be the Glory’ written in the year 1875, was sung by the congregation as the closing hymn.
Several congregational members dressed in old timey attire. Bruce Sturdy picked up Pastor Steve and wife Martha at their home and drove them in his horse drawn wagon to Taggart Park for the service.
