Matchups for the Class B-1 district and Class C2-2 sub-district have been released.
Nebraska City, seeded No. 4 in the Class B-1 district, will play No. 5 seed Waverly in the first round at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at Lincoln Southwest. A win would put the Pioneers in a 7:30 p.m. match against No. 1 seed Lincoln Pius X, with the winner to advance to a 7 p.m. championship match on Nov. 6, also at Lincoln Southwest. Other teams at the tourney are No. 3 Beatrice and No. 2 Norris.
Lourdes, seeded No. 1 in the Class C2-2 sub-district, will play at 8 p.m. Nov. 2 at Lincoln East against the winner of No. 4 Palmyra and No. 5 Weeping Water. With a win, the Knights would advance to the tourney championship, set for 7 p.m. Nov. 3, also at Lincoln East. Other teams at the tourney are No. 3 Elmwood-Murdock and No. 2 Malcolm.
