Local shooters Sam Sullivan of Nebraska City High School and Tim Jensen of Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca High School finished in an eighth place tie after two days of action at the Class B Nebraska State Golf Championships at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course in Kearney.
Sullivan came into day two after shooting a 72 that tied him with four other golfers for the championship lead.
