S-D-A volleyball continued its success at home with triangular wins  against Nebraska City Lourdes and Falls City on Thursday, Sept. 21.
S-D-A defeated Falls City in two sets 25-9, 25-7.
S-D-A wasted no time with Falls City.
Meridith Clark , Emma Bjork, and Jesse Moss led S-D-A in kills with four and the Rockets dominated both sets
As a team, the Rockets landed 19 kills against the Tigers.
 Jaysa Zoller did a nice job getting the ball to her teammates and led the Rockets with 16 assists.
S-D-A was great on the receiving end as Brooke Snyder had eight returns and Lauren Meyer had five.
Coach Courtney VanGroningen said that the team is more likely to succeed when they spend more time focusing on themselves and not what their opponent is doing.
In the second match of the night, S-D-A defeats Lourdes in straight sets by scores of 25-1 and 25-9.
Clark led the Rockets with six kills on 11 attempts.  Meyer was 50 percent on her kill shots by going 4-of-8.
Zoller set for 17 assists in this game.
Snyder and Livia Wilheim showed their return skills.
Snyder returned nine and Wilheim added five returns.
S-D-A improved  to 12-1 and 8-0 with the triangular wins.
S-D-A has not lost a set or a game since playing Lincoln Christian on Sept. 7.
Coach VanGroningen noted that in the past, that the Rockets have had some success but this team is showing how good they are every time they step on the court.
“Having them win so many games is really boosting their confidence.” VanGroningen said.
