The Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca volleyball team will travel to play at the six-team Fairbury tournament on Saturday. Action begins at 9 a.m.
Teams will be assigned for pool play and then compete in match ups based on the results of the pool contests. Pool play was assigned using NSAA power points as of Tuesday.
Teams in Pool A are the host team, David City and Sandy Creek. Teams in Pool B are S-D-A, Auburn and Falls City.
S-D-A enters the Fairbury tournament riding a 7-1 record and fresh off Thursday’s straight set home win against Platteview. Scores from the Platteview match were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-21.

Rockets def. Nebraska City, 25-6 and 25-12
S-D-A won a two-set match over Nebraska City in a triangular at the Syracuse gym on Sept. 12.
Kill leaders were Meredith Clark, eight kills; Lauren Meyer, seven; and Reagan Petersen, six.
Brooke Snyder served 19-of-20 with one ace. She also had eight digs.
Petersen had seven digs and Jaysa Zoller set the offense with 21 assists.

Rockets def. Plattsmouth, 25-19 and 25-16
Emma Bjork posted five kills to lead the Rockets in a Sept. 12 triangular match win over the Blue Devils. Other kill leaders were Reagan Petersen and Jessie Moss, four kills each. Dig leaders were Lauren Meyer, 15; and Petersen, 13. Jaysa Zoller set the offense with 15 assists and served 9-of-9 with an ace.

Lincoln Christian def. Rockets, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20, 28-26
Reagan Petersen had 16 kills and Meredith Clark had 15 in a Sept. 7 set back to Lincoln Christian on Sept. 7.
Dig leaders were Petersen, 30; Lauren Meyer, 21; and Livia Wilhelm, 13.
Block leaders were Clark, four; Jaysa Zoller, three; and Jessie Moss, Meyer, Petersen and Emma Bjork, two each.
Meyer served 22-of-22 with two aces.
Zoller set the offense with 43 assists.

Rockets def. Wilber-Clatonia, 25-7 and 25-11
Kill leaders for the Rockets in a triangular match win over Wilber-Clatonia at Tecumseh on Sept. 5 were Reagan Petersen, seven; Meredith Clark, six; and Jessie Moss, six. Lauren Meyer served 16-of-17 with five aces. Petersen had 10 digs Brooke Snyder had eight. Jaysa Zoller set the offense for 22 assists.

Meredith Clark had a team-high six kills in the Rockets’ win over the Thunderbirds during triangular action at Tecumseh on Sept. 5. Lauren Meyer served three aces, Reagan Petersen had 10 digs and Jaysa Zoller set the offense for 17 assists.
