The Nebraska City Pioneers hosted the first community fall pep rally at Pioneer Field Wednesday.

The youth football cheerleaders, Nebraska City varisty cheerleaders and dance team performed, along with the band.

Coaches introduced players for tennis, cross country, football, volleyball and girls softball.

High School Principal Brian Hoover continued his quest to perfect the “Who are We?” school spirit chant.

Cheerleaders assisted with games in the north parking lot included a dunk tank, football toss and golf putting.
